This week-long boat holiday takes you on a discovery of some of the cruising waterways in Alsace and Lorraine.  You’ll enjoy the many lakes scattered along the Saar Canal and the remarkable Arzviller boat lift - an incredible feat of engineering which you can use to transport your rental boat up or down the inclined plane!

Located on a loop of waterways which link Luxembourg, Germany and France, the port of Harskirchen offers many opportunities for boating holidays with walks in the heart of nature, swimming and gastronomic discoveries.

We were very impressed by the canals, dug out 150 years ago. It's a real technical performance! We also discovered the boat lift on the inclined plane of Saint-Louis-Arzviller. I did a lot of photos, it was a real experience!
