Try renowned Buzet wines before heading to Agen for a taste of their famous prunes. Also take time to investigate the farmers markets and restaurants which all showcase the local specialities.
The Nicols base is located at the crossroads of the Canal de Garonne (also known as the Canal des Deux Mers), the Lot River and the River Baise. This means that from Buzet-sur-Baïse there are numerous cruising possibilities that will give you a flavour of typical villages in and around the Gers and Gascony region, as well sample the best fine dining and quality vineyards that are here in abundance.

A weekend of eating like kings!
The warm welcome of the lock keepers and the tranquillity of the River Baïse meant we were fully able to relax during our weekend boating break. We visited lovely villages where we ate at some great restaurants (at very good prices!).
