New 2023: To improve onboard comfort even more Nicols has added the following extra equipment to the Quattro S: a sun awning on the upper deck + air conditioning using shore power.

The Quattro S from the Nicols Estivale range was launched in 2013. It is a variation in design of the Quattro model – the difference being the layout of the cabins. A large cabin at the front of the boat includes lots of storage space and a superb bathroom with spacious shower area. A second cabin with twin beds is ideal for children.

This canal boat, at almost 11 metres in length offers a great feeling of spacious accommodation.
The bright living area offers a panoramic view of your surroundings and at the back of a boat is a deck space with canopy, great for alfresco dining.
The kitchen offers a remarkable amount of equipment – a large fridge, hob and oven whilst there is also a TV, radio/CD/MP3 player and connectivity to shore power supply of 220 volts.
Also outside is a second steering position on the top deck and a swim ladder and deck shower as with all of our Estivale range of canal boats.

This was our first time renting a Nicols canal barge. We chose a cruise in Alsace on the Marne-Rhine Canal travelling onboard the Quattro S. The huge front cabin of the Quattro S has the feel of a master bedroom and the bathroom is brilliant – especially the separate shower area.
