A friendly Frenchan is an oxymoron akin to Military Intelligence and Scottish Amicable, but our recent visit to Brittany to take a trip with Nicols new Sixto cruiser disproved the usual image of surly Parisian waiters and truculent traffic cops, says Gerry Mulvaney.
