This one-way canal boat holiday on the Canal de Nantes à Brest transports you back in time and gives a flavour of the history of the Brittany region. Your route between the Nicols bases at Glénac and Sucé sur Erdre takes you through the land of the Druids and to the ‘City of Dukes’ that is Nantes.
Your canal boating holiday in Brittany begins at the Nicols base in Glénac, located in the heart of Morbihan. Our family boating holiday on the Canal de Nantes à Brest was exceptionally good with the route having plenty of places to visit that would keep the whole family occupied, especially the children! Highlights for them were the museum “machines de l’ile of Nantes” and waterpark at Guenrouët. There was no chance of them getting bored!
